Update 1.71

Patch 1.71 is here! With it we want to address the nodes issue with the start of the monthly wipe. The experience with the nodes should now be more in line with the STEAM version, making for an overall more balanced experience. There’s also some other fixes that will improve the gameplay experience. With 1.71 out in the wild, is now time for the team to get back to HORSEPOCALYPSE! We will share more information once that update is available for testing on the public test branch. 

 

GAMEPLAY

  • Improvements made to Node spawning to be more inline with steam
  • Changed the collision on the Large Furnace to match the Steam version.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the player to spawn in third person.
  • Fixed a bug causing Scientists spawn in incorrect locations at the Cargo Ship.
  • Fixed a bug that caused item stacks to be consumed while combining stacks during crafting.
  • Fixed a bug allowing players to phase through the Cargo Ship.
  • Fixed a bug that blocked the Miners Hat from ejecting Low Grade Fuel when placed into a Recycler that was already turned on.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause players to die when going through the vents on Launch Site.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the NPC Scientist to float above the ground or beneath the terrain.
  • Fixed various issues with autosprint in the water.
 

UI

  • Fixed a bug that caused several languages to overlap on the Mixing Table.
 

WORLD

  • Destroyed Helicopter is now back at the Airfield.
  • Fixed a bug that made the damage decal disappear when the player hits the red X on trees.
  • Fixed a bug that caused foliage to float due to large holes in terrain.
  • Fixed a bug that caused flickering shadows to occur across the map.
