Patch Notes 2.01

Hello Survivors,

Patch 2.01 introduces the brand new INDUSTRIAL components. The era of Automation is here!  Explore the Oil Rig via the new Moonpools with new Tools, carry more with the new Backpacks and navigate the night with the new Nightlight. This patch also includes general gameplay fixes, quality of life improvements, and bug fixes.

NEW FEATURES

  • Industrial: Bring new levels of efficiency and unlock new avenues for automation with Industrial entities. With these new tools you can move items around your base as well as craft items.

  • Electrical Changes: Added bug fixes, quality of life improvements and major changes to electrical items.

  • Backpacks: The backpacks do exactly what you’d expect: they allow you to carry more items at once. There are two types - small and large. Players can only carry one backpack with items in it at a time, but you can have multiple empty backpacks in your inventory.

  • Seismic Sensor: A new electricity-powered deployable that detects explosions from Rockets, C4 and Explosive Ammo within an adjustable 1 to 30-metre radius.

  • Nightlight: The Nightlight is a shader that subtly illuminates a small radius around the player, mimicking the effect of natural moon light. The nightlight ensures that while you can see just enough to navigate at night, the vast darkness beyond remains dark.

  • Moonpool in Oil Rig: Both rigs now feature a moonpool, just like the ones in the Underwater Labs, complete with a big vertical pipe for climbing. This means you can now dive or sub your way into the monument via the depths below.
