Patch Notes 1.7
Hello Survivors,
This patch includes new features, important bug fixes and general gameplay fixes.
ADDED
Abandoned Military Base: A new desert-exclusive monument that harbours MLRS equipment and hostile tenants on patrol. This monument procedurally generates multiple different layouts.
Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS): Located in every Abandoned Military Base, the MLRS is a vehicle that does not move, but can be set up to fire rockets to any target across the map (excluding safe zones).
RC Drones: A new player-controlled crafted deployable that can be operated from a Computer Station. Can be unlocked from a tier 2 workbench or looted.
New Weapons: Added five new weapons to the game. The Handmade SMG, High Caliber Revolver, and the SKS are obtainable through crafting, and the Minigun and Military Flame Thrower which can be looted from Heavy Scientists.
Bradley now spawns Scientists and Heavy Scientists.
New Recoil System: Updated the recoil to match the Steam version.
View Model Sway: Updated dynamic animations to view models.
Head bob: Added head bob that will be active while walking and sprinting. Added head shake with different weapon animation. This can be turned off in the options menu.
GAMEPLAY
Fixed a few instances of crashes.
Improved performance in Military Tunnels.
Handcuffed players can no longer dismount themselves from chairs and vehicles.
Players are now able to dismount, stop the engine, and open the fuel storage on a tugboat while it is in auto-drive.
Dismounting a tugboat while crouching no longer occupies the tugboat and causes the player model to glitch.
Scrap Transport Helicopters no longer flip and lose health when in drive mode.
Drones will no longer be destroyed during delivery after passing through the terrain.
Players can cancel an action by letting go of the button when the loading bar is in progress.
Adaptive trigger feedback will not vibrate continuously when players attempt to shoot a Flamethrower when it is out of fuel.
Flamethrowers can no longer be reloaded even when it has maximum fuel.
Fixed an issue where players cannot rotate Vending Machines, Tool Cupboards, and Workbenches after placing them.
Fixed an issue with Auto Turrets not dealing damage to unauthorised players and inflicting self-damage with each shot.
Players can navigate the tech tree menu using Left Stick after zooming in at the corner then zooming out.
Players are no longer able to rotate a wall while it has a Timed Explosive attached to it.
Fixed a crash when giving water to the fuel tank module until empty while the items info is showing.
Triangle Roof pieces on each side of a Triangle Foundation will now connect and no longer cause a rubberband.
Swapping an item from a source with a stack of the same item in the player inventory does not cause the stack to disappear.
VISUAL
Updated visuals for the foliage in all biomes.
Fixed an issue where the player model’s skin details would shift as players move.
Clouds will no longer shift unnaturally when players are exiting the Military Tunnels.
Players exploring the underground mineshaft area of Airfield will no longer encounter a dark wall covering the doorway to the entrance.
Fixed visual issues occurring at the stairs overhang in the Water Treatment Plant.
Fixed visual issues where several monuments can be seen through from afar.
Fixed a bug where the view model when aiming down sight for ranged weapons is extremely shaky.
Bullet tracers of the HMLMG is no longer visually offset from the barrel of the gun.
Reticle is no longer missing when aiming down sight with Simple Handmade Sight or Holo Sight attached.
Fixed an issue where viewing bullet decals from behind a drone will cause visual overlap.
Fixed a bug where items viewed under a shade appear pitch black.
Added the green lines to the Prototype 17 iron sight.
Made visual improvements to the Flamethrower flame effects.
Corrected the Flamethrower’s model to match the Steam version
Flamethrower fire visual effect no longer appears when being equipped from the hotbar.
The fire effect now appears correctly when activating the hot air balloon.
Added bullet and melee impact decals when hit for miscellaneous objects.
When shooting on any surfaces with a weapon, bullet decals can no longer be seen through cactuses.
Fixed visual issues causing the Timed Explosive Charge to disappear when viewed from a distance.
Fixed collisions of the Bradley APC to match the Steam version.
Timed Explosive Charge and Satchel Charge no longer clip through the front and rear of the Bradley APC.
Attaching a Timed Explosive Charge or Satchel Charge to the Bradley APC no longer causes the item to wiggle on the spot.
Smoke of a flashbang no longer appears blocky.
Fixed a bug where flame does not appear when the player lights a Tuna Can Lamp unless rejoining the server.
Electrical Heater lighting will no longer flicker when placed nearby one another.
Added a storage container in between the seats of the duo submarine.
Fixed visual issues that can be seen at the Sewer Tunnel entrances.
Fixed an issue where far away buildings would pop in when players hold a tool while performing an action.
Chicken Gesture’s animation is no longer cancelled early when walking, jumping or crouching.
Player’s head does not rotate slower in comparison to the character model when turning.
Made improvements to the shadows casted from the player's body.
Building plans do not appear to be floating when equipping a placeable item.
Improved water ripples around row boats.
Fixed a bug where facing any monument doors while holding a hammer highlights the door in red and allows players to access a radial menu.
Casting the fishing rod now shows the line connected to the bob is now correctly aligned.
UI
Favourite items in the locker will no longer reset when rejoining a server.
The auto-turret ammo count in the weapon slot is updated correctly after usage.
Opening the engine module’s inventory UI correctly filters and only highlights engine components.
Fuel Tank UI will no longer load incorrectly after selecting another module with internal storage.
Engine component icons no longer appear misaligned from the box.
Selecting a ping when using binoculars will correctly close the tooltip window.
Updated localisation for the gear section in the loot menu.
Updated localisation for Power Out tooltip that is connected to Auto-Turret.
Tooltips when using Modular Vehicles now reflect the player's selected control scheme correctly.
Fixed overlapping and misaligned storage slots in the Reclaim Terminal UI.
Fixed an issue where the last row of inventory slots when looting a corpse would overlap with the players health bar.
Removed ‘Change Seat’ prompt for Chippy arcade machine and CH47.
‘Change Seat’ option no longer appears when the player is interacting with the sofa at Bandit Camp.
Fixed an issue where the ‘Select Container’ prompt persists when navigating between modules with and without internal storage.
Players no longer have to press twice to select the container for Fuel Tank Module after all the water is taken.
Weapon attachment UI no longer disappears after the player drops an attachment from the menu.
Switching to other items while enabling radio frequency for Timed Explosive Charge no longer causes the progress bar to appear on other items.
Buttons for ‘Give Internal Items’ have been corrected to the corresponding controls.
AUDIO
Flamethrower’s pilot flame SFX plays correctly after it is equipped.
