Patch Notes 1.12

Hello Survivors,

This patch includes Improvements, Bug Fixes and CMS Changes.

 

IMPROVED

  • Circuits involving the memory cell will no longer short circuit when it is connected to more than 7 components - Sorry electricians!

  • Purchasing additional content while in a server should now immediately grant players access to the content

  • Server stability should now be more consistent when running a server for a long time

  • Dropping items on the Cargo Ship no longer results in them flying away

  • Military Tunnels performance when FPS lock is ON has been improved

  • The Quick Chat/Emote wheel will no longer appear if the player is holding LT/RT (XBOX) | L2/R2 (PS5)

  • Player drowning mechanics have been improved, and should now feel more consistent

  • Auto Turret laser performance has been improved

  • Water transitions from rivers to oceans have been smoothed out

  • Coastal regions near sea level have been raised slightly

  • River generation has been adjusted for smoother terrain textures

  • River fishing is now more consistent

  • Ore Node and Tree spawning densities have been balanced for 4.5K maps

 

MAJOR CHANGES

  • Players no longer look frozen when viewing them from a distance

  • Waking up underneath a moving Elevator will no longer push the player below the terrain

  • Canyons no longer have water effects around them when spawning close to sea level

  • The Combat Log UI now correctly displays the weapon/item name when viewing details

  • Sprinklers now correctly output water to Planter Boxes when there are more than 7 components connected in series

  • Players are no longer able to place Double/Garage Doors in a door frame immediately after they are destroyed

  • Recyclers and the Bandit Camp no longer provide infinite scrap in certain cases

  • Players can no longer block the movement of High External gates with vehicles

  • Players can now deploy all types of throwables when inside Canyons

  • Lighting in multiple monuments/safe zones now consistently activates when joining the server

  • “Wainscoting White” wallpaper now places correctly

  • Weapon Rack UI now correctly displays information for condition and ammo status

  • Multiple Tool Cupboards are no longer placeable within their exclusion radius

 

MINOR CHANGES

  • The backside of Rugs and Bear Rugs no longer disappear at short distances

  • Hot Air Balloons and Bikes (all types) now decay correctly when underwater

  • Modular Vehicles no longer shift around on the chassis when viewed from far away

  • Switches no longer get stuck in their previous state when toggled while the server is restarting

  • Rock formations no longer cast shadows on themselves when viewing from certain angles

  • Motorbike sidecar UI now shows at the correct time

  • Platform icons now show correctly when a player is killed

  • Reclaim Terminals no longer appear on servers that have Easy Mode disabled

  • The Flight Control Code-lock now displays correctly at long distances

  • River surface rendering is now more consistent when looking at different angles

  • Water Tank I/O ports are now correctly placed on modular vehicles

  • Homing Rockets now fire all rockets correctly, regardless of weapon durability when firing

  • Red X tooltips now correctly disappear when the correct conditions are met

  • Candle Hats no longer extinguish automatically when below sea level in underground areas

  • Spotlight lights are no longer visible when they are switched off

  • Building hologram brightness is now more consistent

  • Wallpaper no longer disappears randomly when updating nearby building blocks

  • Turret Interference status now updates correctly when equipping an Auto Turret in the hotbar

  • Boat auto-drive is now persistent when transferring from the ocean to rivers

  • Adobe Walls now correctly cast shadows

  • Collectable plants no longer shrink when approaching them

  • Ocean Junkpiles and Dive Site chests now move and react to the ocean waves

  • Wooden Barricade Covers no longer rotate 180° when re-selected in the hotbar

  • CCTV cameras at Computer Stations can now be switched freely

  • Modular Car wheels now spin at all times when the vehicle is moving

  • Lake water colour no longer changes when viewing from a distance

  • Auto Turret’s healthbar no longer overlaps with the pickup UI when it is damaged

  • Multiple weapon/armor skin visual fixes

 

COMMUNITY SERVER CHANGES

  • Granting Auth Levels to a player using a partial name will no longer be accepted by the server

    • This fixes an issue with inconsistent Auth Levels when leaving and rejoining a server

  • Optimised boot logs on server startup

  • Adjusted minimum size and density requirements for Custom Zones

    • Zones must now have a minimum side-width of 1m for boxes, and a 1m radius for spheres

    • There can be no more than 6 zones in a 20m radius

  • The “say” command cooldown can no longer be modified by server owners

  • The “say” command cooldown has been reduced from 5 seconds to 3 seconds

  • Special characters have now been blocked from use with the “say” command

  • “--road.enable_road 0” now correctly disables roads when placed in the Boot Commands section

  • "--river.enable_river 0" now correctly disables rivers when placed in the Boot Commands section

  • “--decor.place_cliffs 1” now correctly generates cliffs when placed in the Boot Commands section

  • “--decor.place_rock_formations 1” now correctly generates rock formations when placed in the Boot Commands section

  • Added “--enable_ring_road 1/0” as a Boot Command to control Ring Roads on the map

  • The Bradley APC and Attack Helicopter now explode properly when deleting them with the Admin Tool

  • Players outside of zones can no longer exploit logging out to detonate Timed Explosives within a PvE zone

  • The Kit Manager UI now correctly appears when invoked

  • “teaminfoall” command now correctly returns all teams and their information, even after a server restart
