Happy Spooky Season! In addition to previous Halloween Events, we’ve got some new tricks to treat you to!

IT’S ALIVE!

The island trembles as the Scarecrows and Mummies rise again!

Slay these cursed creatures to collect 3-tier body parts (Head, Torso, and Legs) and piece together your very own Frankenstein Monster. Mix, match, and resurrect your perfect abomination!

FRANKENSTEIN TABLE

Once you have collected the aforementioned body parts, you can craft a Frankenstein’s Table on a tier 1 workbench - default blueprint for this deployable will be available while the Halloween Event is active.

Once crafted and deployed, add the body parts to the table’s inventory - you don’t need matching body parts to make your monster, you can mix and match between Light, Medium and Heavy parts to customize your own! You can always re-work your monster by returning them to the Frankenstein's table to swap out body parts by choosing the ‘Sleep’ option on the command wheel which can be accessed using the Gesture Wheel.

FRANKENSTEIN MONSTER

Once crafted, awaken your monster and control it using the Command Wheel, the monster will follow your orders which include - following you around the map, defend you if you’re being attacked and initiate attacks on foes you target.

FRANKENSTEIN AND MUMMY MASKS

We’re bringing the Frankenstein and Mummy Masks to this year’s Halloween Event, these items are free to use during the event and can be collected from the loot collected by killing Mummies and Scarecrows. You can also find these items in loot bags from the Candy Hunt event.

GHOST SHEET COSTUME

We've also added a new Halloween wearable item "Ghost Sheet Costume" you'll be able to find these as rare drops from killing Scarecrow NPCs.

The below Halloween events and items are coming back to Rust Console Edition this year!

CANDY HUNT EVENT

The Halloween Candy Hunt has crept back from the grave, and this time it’s all treats and no tricks! Get ready to scavenge for Candies across the island once the event begins. The Candy Hunt event will haunt your server twice per RUST day. The event runs for a limited time on official servers from October 16th, 2025 to November 4th, 2025, and can also be summoned by Community Server owners around the same dates. When the event is triggered, a 15-second countdown will appear. As soon as the timer hits zero, the hunt begins! An overlay will reveal the top 10 Candy Hunters and the time left before the event vanishes. Each haunting round lasts a brief 3 minutes—so grab as many glowing Candies as you can before the darkness claims them.

The Candies will spawn within your field of vision and shimmer with an eerie glow, making them easy to spot. When the event ends, the top 5 hunters will be rewarded with loot based on their performance. The prizes are wickedly delightful:

Ready your Sickles and Pitchforks - This Halloween hunt is one you won’t want to miss!

HALLOWEEN PORTALS

Dare to enter the dark portals scattered across the island, transporting you to eerie dungeons where you’ll battle terrifying Scarecrow NPCs. Defeat them...if you dare!

MAP ROAMING SCARECROWS

The island has been overrun by haunted scarecrows, wandering the land and ready to attack any survivor they encounter. Slay these sinister figures to gather their cursed loot - but be quick, they won’t go down easy!

VAMPIRE STAKE

Wield the power of the night! This powerful weapon can take down a scarecrow in a single strike, causing them to drop extra loot. You can find stakes hidden inside the small candy bags crafted during the event - if you’re lucky!

CRAFTABLE HALLOWEEN ITEMS

These special items are only available while the Halloween Event is active and will appear as default crafting recipes - no research required, and no blueprints can be conjured. You can either craft them yourself or find them in Loot Bags scattered throughout the event. Hurry, though! Once the event ends, these spooky treasures will disappear back into the shadows.
