Patch Notes 1.9

Hello Survivors,

This patch includes important bug fixes, general gameplay fixes and quality of life improvements.

 

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Made general improvements to performance. 

  • Improved performance when using minigun and when encountering minigun attacks.

  • Decreased the size of the gap between two boxes when using Advanced Deployable Snapping.

  • Improved water splash VFX on tugboats and RHIBs to not abruptly disappear when reversing or stopping movements.

  • Made improvements to the External Wall and External Gate icon in the options menu to match Steam.

  • Ammo icons on the options menu have been improved to match Steam.

  • Improved localisations for the Fishing Rod description. 

  • Improved visibility of powerline cables when viewing it from all angles.

  • Improved error handling for skin purchases to prevent users from getting stuck in a loading loop when attempting to buy skins without internet connection.

  • Improved fuel storage selectable area on rowboats, making it easier to add fuel and to start/stop the engine.

  • Standardized icons across the Quick Chat UI for better consistency.

  • Small Stashes are now visible to all players after it is unhidden.

  • Improved placement indicator for Short and High Ice Walls to show which Object/Monument is blocking placement.

 

FIXES

Fixed multiple live crashes faced by players for all platforms.

  • Fixed various loot and item container desync issues and being kicked from servers..

  • Fixed an issue when entering spectate mode would cause the spectator UI to disappear, leading to various unwanted behaviours.

  • Resolved an issue where items can still be crafted after using the “banitem "item" all” command.

  • Fixed a bug where using craft.adddefaultblueprint "itemname" would block players from gaining or researching that item.

  • Fixed Safe Zone Turrets and Launch Site SAM Sites not damaging players when "allowPvPDamage" is set to false. 

  • Corrected outline pattern on Large Wood Box with Bread skin when highlighted.

  • Fixed an issue where equipping certain DLC hatchets and pickaxes would cause a duplicate to appear in first-person view. 

  • Resolved issue using "givedrop" command will cause given items to be flung in random directions. 

  • Fixed player getting stuck at 0 wounded timer and unable to get up after using "injure" command on Softcore/Hardcore servers.

  • Fixed texture alignment issues on the Tigerstripe Sheet Metal Door skin.

  • Fixed texture stretching issue on the LR-300 Assault Rifle. 

  • Fixed white holes seen on the Retrowave Assault Rifle skin barrel.

  • Fixed visible scratches on the icon of the Pink Camo Assault Rifle. 

  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to see through the inner barrel of the pump shotgun when previewing in the skin store or locker.

  • Fixed the outline of the Gloomsprite Rug silhouette to correctly match the shape of the rug.

  • Fixed the resolution of the emissives of the Gloomsprite Architecture. 

  • Fixed texture alignment issues on the Cursed Pirate Rocket Launcher skin.

  • Fixed visual issues that occur when Gingerbread-tier L Shaped Stairs and U Shape Stairs are destroyed.

  • Fixed visual issues occurring on the wall frame with Gingerbread skin equipped.

  • Fixed visual issues that occur when foundations with a Gingerbread skin are connected to other foundations with different skins. 

  • Fixed shadows obscuring Gingerbread doorways, windows, and walls when a light source is pointed at it. 

  • Fixed visual issues on the GingerbreadSleeping Bag.

  • Corrected gib placement and texture for Gingerbread L Shaped and U Shaped Stairs.

  • Fixed the position of long sleeve t-shirt skins when previewing.

  • Fixed issue where Computer Station is not mountable if placed on slanted terrain. 

  • Fixed localisation to display correct reason when killed by Magnet Crane, Rocket Crane Lift and Gingerbread NPC.

  • Fixed an issue where the corpse of Underwater Dwellers would temporarily disappear before reappearing as a lootbag.

  • Added lighting to the motorbike speed meter and fuel meter when the motorbike light is turned on.

  • Fixed the Laser Detector to trigger correctly when players are in range.

  • Fixed minor visual issues seen at the supermarket shelves at the Abandoned Supermarket. 

  • Fixed minor visual issues seen at the Abandoned Supermarket when players are on Quality preset.

  • Fixed missing interactable light switches in the Power Plant monument. 

  • Fixed sunlight bleeding through buildings in the Arctic Research Base when looking at certain angles. 

  • Resolved visual issue where launch site ground cracks were visible through dropped backpacks.

  • Fixed visual issues where objects are popping in and out at short distances at Abandoned Supermarket.

  • Improved Snowmobile spark effect when riding on roads or rocky terrains.

  • Fixed snowmobile textures that appear broken when viewed from 8 meters away. 

  • Removed power icon on ores after Electric Furnace is destroyed.

  • Fixed respawn screen displaying death POV instead of map after selecting a bed from a cluster.

  • Fixed not being able to clear wire connections from Input/Output Node of fast pulsing circuits.

  • Fixed footstep audio bug where sounds were incorrectly played as if walking on water at Sewer Branch, Military Tunnel, Oil Rigs and Launch Site.

  • Fixed incorrect tooltips for Lockers, Beds, Fridges and Stone Fireplaces when placing them away from construction areas.

  • Fixed train track planks to not appear flipped under certain lighting conditions. 

  • Fixed Python Revolver’s hammer animation when firing to match Steam. 

  • Fixed misaligned tooltip UI that appears when turning tooltip window on in-game.

  • Fixed minor visual issues seen on the large pipes in the Sewer Branch. 

  • Fixed minor visual issues seen on the dune area around Water Well. 

  • MLRS Rockets spawned underwater will explode on launch matching Steam. 

  • Fixed auto-equip behaviour choosing last item to be auto-equipped when player inventory contains no items that count as an Auto-Equip option.

  • Fixed the intensity of the light emitted from lanterns to match Steam. 

  • Fixed minor visual issue with player-deployed lanterns.

  • Fixed Winter Camo Architecture and Tigerstripe Camo Architecture Armoured Doors to have less obstruction over the hatch.

  • Fixed "Line of sight blocked" error when placing foundations at lower heights.

  • Resolved text overflow in note when viewing the note’s information.

  • Fixed Long-Sleeve T-shirt clipping through Jacket.

  • Fixed being able to place objects under Square Foundations that have Elevators placed above it.

  • Fixed animal ragdolls jittering when an animal dies  on the corpses of another animal/player.

  • Fixed certain options in Settings not resetting to default when pressing the Defaults button.

  • Fixed skins appearing to have sections that clip through the mannequin model when previewing in Skin Store or Locker. 

  • Fixed minor visual issues around Water Treatment Plant.

  • Fixed minor visual issues for assets around Launch Site.

  • Fixed issue where warning a player would prevent them from rejoining the same server with a wrong disconnect message.

  • Fixed distorted gunner screen on Attack Helicopter when ascending.

  • Fixed “Take Internal Items” button prompt not hidden when hovering over car modules that have internal storage.

  • Fixed HUD prompts displaying engine state on the Engine Component editing screen misaligning and overlapping in several languages.

  • Adjusted lighting under walkway at Launchsite to prevent overexposure.

  • Made weapon condition color consistent between Quick Equip UI and inventory displays.

  • Fixed missing door handles on Armoured Double Doors and Armoured Doors with the Fallen skin.

  • Fixed players unable to place markers again after placing and canceling markers on death points.

  • Fixed visual issues on walkways across Military Tunnel.

  • Added water splash effects for snowmobiles riding through water.

  • Updated the description of coffins to reflect the actual amount of up to 48 items stored.

  • Fixed monument names displaying with '#' character in warning pop-ups.

  • Fixed cleaver culling issue in players' left hand while crouching.

  • Fixed inconsistent respawn timer behavior when there’s a Camper Bed in the respawn location list.

  • Fixed an issue where the Add Marker functionality could appear over vending machine tooltips.

  • Fixed tooltip showing incorrect player bed count after setting a bed to private.

  • Fixed Worn Wolf headdress appearing on screen when a player is looted or killed.

  • Fixed Hot Air Balloon Armor max HP.

  • Fixed crafting queue exceeding its limit when spamming A/Cross.

  • Fixed M39 Rifle model appearing inverted when viewed in third person. 

  • Fixed an issue that prevented users from editing Snowball items in Kit Creation.

  • Fixed bed count icon displaying incorrect amount when in hardcore mode.

  • Fixed water being culled from the player’s view when viewing water sources from certain monuments.

  • Fixed missing frame on Prisoner Sheet Metal Double Door preview.

  • Fixed Prisoner Sheet Metal Door and Sheet Metal Double Door previews being less exposed than their icons.

  • Fixed misty particles being offset on Ice Assault Rifle when using left-handed viewmodel.

  • Fixed Metal Chestplate appearing and disappearing when equipping the Elite Lethal Force skin.

  • Fixed the icon for Demonic Thompson to match the in-game model and locker.

  • Fixed  L96 Rifle looking dented when viewing in-game and preview.

  • Fixed Semi-Automatic Rifle gun barrel having hard edges on its rounded surface.

  • Updated server tag for Abandoned Military Base to show all 4 variants for all languages.

  • Resolved blue line appearing on Gingerbread building skin when highlighting walls.

  • Updated localisation for Land Monument filter tag.

  • Fixed transparency issue with the bottom section of the Unicorn bear rug world model

  • Fixed being able to spawn and give DLC items to other players through the Community Server control panel.
