Patch Notes 1.14

Hello Survivors,

This update introduces important bug fixes, gameplay improvements, community server changes and quality-of-life changes.

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Minor performance improvements have been made to large bases with multiple Tool Cupboards

  • Satchel Charge damage has been balanced, they now do less damage to vehicles

  • Using the PS5 touchpad for entering code lock combinations no longer activates the player’s microphone

  • Diving Masks now have improved visibility underwater

  • Added some new loading screens

  • Added some new Main Menu videos

 

MAJOR CHANGES

  • Players no longer get culled on the Cargo Ship due to server-side checks

  • Resolved some rare cases where servers were refusing connections due to high load

  • Players no longer softlock when dying while the OSK (On-Screen Keyboard) is active

  • Players can no longer destroy deployables by using a vehicle to clip through walls

  • Explosives can no longer be pushed through walls using a tricycle or sidecar motorcycle

  • Player SAM Sites will no longer open fire at grounded air vehicles

  • Being killed while sleeping no longer causes player collision and team state issues

  • Weapon statistics between the Inventory and the Crafting UI have been synchronised

  • Minicopter fuel gauge now updates correctly when flying

  • Test Generators, Salvaged Shelves, Mixing Tables, and Tool Cupboards now correctly snap to walls

  • High External Walls/Gates and Planter Boxes now correctly snap into place

  • Players will no longer get stuck inside foundations they are building beneath them

  • Cycling through tabs on the Skin Store is now faster and smoother

  • The Bucket Lift in the Caves will no longer drop the player when they are riding it

  • Player corpse bags now drop to the floor after the player dies on the Bucket Lift in the Caves

  • Fixed some title crashes

 

MINOR CHANGES

  • Fixed multiple textures at the Bandit Camp

  • XBOX players now have the option to view Gamercards when interacting with a Player Skull

  • “What’s New” message are now correctly scrollable when their length exceeds the popup size

  • “No respawn” icon now shows correctly when around the Oil Rigs

  • Players will no longer die immediately after waking up inside the basket of a Hot Air Balloon

  • Backend text should no longer show in the Parachute hint

  • Ammunition counters now transfer correctly between inventory weapons and turrets

  • The safe zone hostile timer now appears correctly when appropriate

  • Thirst gauge flashing has been reduced when dehydrated

  • Rowboat internals are no longer invisible when the boat is submerged

  • Rowboat splash effect no longer travels through terrain when on a river

  • Adjusted some asset sizes in Radtown

  • Interacting with an object while mounted to an air vehicle no longer changes the player’s seat position

  • Players no longer clip through the elevator while it is moving

  • Adjusted some crate placements in the Caves

  • Adjusted some asset placements in the Underwater Labs

  • Lighting on the Cargo Ship exterior now behaves correctly when not under direct light

  • Corpses wearing a Miner’s Hat no longer illuminate their surroundings

  • The UI for changing a code lock on vehicles has been improved

  • CCTV cameras now correctly change direction when moved by the player

  • Placing down a Sleeping Bag now shows the correct “You are now at x/15 Sleeping bags” UI

  • ADS visuals for the Homing Launcher have been improved

  • Player SAM Sites now correctly rotate when targeting aerial vehicles

  • Scientist corpses now have correct localisation in the Combat Log

  • Attack Helicopter’s lights no longer desync from its body when its event is triggered at night

  • Oxygen meters no longer persist on the HUD when swapping the Diving Tank out of the active backpack slot

  • Fairy Lights and Bulb Strings from the Exhibit DLC pack now allow the player to continue deploying them after swapping to a different held item

  • Idle animations for the LR300 have been adjusted to match the FP version

  • Swapping from the default Chainsaw to the Warhammer 40K skin will no longer consume all the fuel in it

  • Krieg Hazmat suits are now sortable in Industrial Conveyors

  • Items from the Warhammer 40K and Pilot DLCs can now be used as cost items in Vending Machines

  • Multiple decor rock model fixes

  • Multiple localisation fixes

  • Multiple visual fixes

 

COMMUNITY SERVER CHANGES

  • Admins can now destroy trees with the Entity Details menu

  • Players can no longer bypass Kit Machine cooldown times by leaving and rejoining the server

  • Unread reports are now readable by Server Admins when the inbox contains only one report

  • Player-inputted text censoring has been adjusted

  • Server names are now limited to 512 characters (including HTML colour tags)

  • Long Community Server names in the Server List now scroll correctly
