No more waiting, let's dive right in!
New update arriving to PTB later this week!
The new content update brings some submerged additions to the game and you will need the right type of gear to explore them! Introducing the Underwater Labs, a procedurally generated monument that will feature unique layouts from map to map. Be sure to adapt your strategies based on the challenges you find.
Two new vehicles are also being added and you need them to navigate these aquatic landscapes! First up is the Solo Submarine, armed with a Torpedo launcher for engaging other submarines, sharks, and boats roaming on the surface. For those of you who want to explore the seabeds with a fellow survivor, we're introducing the Duo Submarine, boasting all the features of its solo counterpart plus a handy sonar to keep you informed of nearby threats and entry points into the Underwater Labs. Both submarines will be available for trade at the Fishing Villages, so start saving up that scrap.
There are more changes to come with this update. Keep an eye on our PTB Discord server so you don’t miss them!
Updates on in-game bans and anti-cheat system
We continue to make good progress in our detection system for 3rd party devices. It’s important to reiterate that such behaviour breaks our Terms Of Service, which every player must abide by to play the game. Our next step to fight this issue is implementing device bans to make sure the perpetrators are dealt with accordingly, and that they can’t simply get back in the game by creating an alt account. This new ban method was already tested and it works as intended.
Moving forward, our focus is on testing and refinement of the detection systems, to further enhance its capabilities. We appreciate the community's support in reporting violations, and encourage players to continue utilising the in-game report feature to help us maintain a fair and more enjoyable gaming environment!
